"Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards." - Robert A. Heinlein

About Me

My name is Nickolas Furr and I like to write.  I am a former alt-journalist and a freelance writer.  I have done copywriting, scriptwriting, some online technical writing, and a few odds-and-ends of feature writing.

Currently I'm an investigative reporter with the Southwestern College Sun, where I am finally learning some real craft.

I have a short story, "Ploughman," in two different anthologies: A Year in Ink, Vol. 4, published by San Diego Writers, Ink. in February 2011 - and Kizuna: Fiction for Japan, published by Made in DNA in August 2011.

Right now I have many works in progress on the market. I'll let you know what happens with them.
